"The Good: Location, perfectly situated for easy access to all of the tourist areas. The Good: ‘Bob’ the bartender at happy hour, great guy! The So-So: Did not have a restaurant. Breakfast dining, meh. Poor selection the food mediocre at best. The Bad: Check-in was at 4 PM. We arrived at 3:20 PM. Woman with gray hair and glasses (Carolina?) took my ID card (twice) , phone number and email. “We will call you when your room is ready”. Between 3:30 PM and 4 PM, several other Guests arrived ,...

"One of the best properties in Historic district. The staff goes beyond to help you in any way they can. The rooms are exquisite and furnished in the coastal style beautifully. Bathroom is perfect size and neat. The morning breakfast served in the room or terrace is a great feature. Wine and cheese and 5 pm and milk and biscuits at 9 pm are fabulous features. Valet and bell staff is warm And courteous. Will Certainly be coming back here to Stay. Thank you. "

"Valet service is terrific. Staff is mediocre, old rooms, small, out of date. Rooms were serviced daily but cleanliness was lacking. Breakfast was poor and expensive. I paid $6.15 for a diet Dr Pepper at the desk. Not worth what they charge d try Hampton Inn down the street."

"Our room had a door that stuck and was very loud closing and opening. The kitchen cabinets were also damaged and doors did not close. Room was clean. Location was good. Staff was nice, especially the valets. "

"I was shocked at the location. I'm glad I didn't plan to walk to the historic area, as it was not safe. The room was shockingly small, too small for even a bedside table to ut your glasses or phone on. It was made of concrete. This made it very loud in the room and uncomfortable. The bathroom door was basically for show and did not feel private. I would not stay here again. I would sleep in my car before paying to sleep there. "
