"Friendly welcome. Characterful room with good quality tea tray. Great breakfast. Unfortunately the room was not overly clean and the bathroom in particular was tired, run down and felt grubby. Black and dirty sealant around the outside of shower. Broken tiles on floor, broken loo roll holder, grubby and badly marked walls and thick dust/grime on skirting. With a deep clean and a little maintenance this could be a great place to stay."

"VERY poor hotel, arrived late (11:30pm) after a long drawn out journey and for some reason had to wait 30 minutes to check in, no queues just poor service (and a printer that wouldn’t print - really?). Got to the room to find it was a dirty room uncleaned from the previous occupant. Waited an age again to get a new room which was freezing and in the noisiest part of the hotel. Had to request a heater to make the room habitable - it didn't work. The hotel rooms are just shabby. Not a great...

"The Angel Posting House is a quirky Tudor-era property, with long and interesting history and many historically-famous guests. Thus the property has a many different levels and steps up to the rooms; each with a wonky charm; typical of this era dwellings. On top of the olde world charm, it still has a modern fit-out and was a very comfortable stay. "We arrived and we're upgraded which was nice. The room was clean and modern. We wanted to use the spa and had to pay £10.00 per hour pp which wasn't expected. Then the steam room wasnt very hot so that was disappointing. This should of been mentioned before we booked. The breakfast was good. Not somewhere I would visit again in a hurry. Very pricey for what it is."

"Excellent stay for the night, at a really good price compared to what was locally available and which were inferior to Barnett Hill in overall value and quality. We checked in at 23:50 without problem, and although the signage could probably be a bit clearer in terms of arrows to especially at that time of night, we found the room eventually and it was clean and well prepared. Only downside was i couldn't work out if we had hand soap for the bathroom albeit it might have been in an amenity...

"We've stayed at Worplesdon Place before and always enjoy it. As always, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was extremely comfortable. We stayed here the night before a family wedding and the manager kindly gave us a late check-out so that we had more time in the room to get ready."

"The room was clean and very convenient as it had an external door to the car park. The room was too hot, not helped by the towel radiator which always on. Not needed when the weather outside was 25⁰C. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast in the moving of our departure which set us up for the rest of the day."
