"Staff varied widely in warmth. Though there were many amenities, most needed updated, such showers losing finish, hot tub barely hot, and very cheap towels. Cleanliness was great, and there were some random items, like a pen with a couple cattle and some museum quality western pieces. Overall, it needed some key updates in several areas, but our stay was enjoyable."
"We booked a Cottage with 2 double beds for 2 nights during the Super bloom. The room was perfect. It had a separate bedroom and living room. The amenities were beyond our expectations. There was a nice sized mini-fridge, a microwave, coffee maker and even a washer/dryer combination! The bathroom appeared to be recently updated with a wonderful shower. There was a front porch with two chairs and a table. We used the front porch to eat breakfast as well as sip a glass of wine at night. Perfect room! Parking was close as well!"

With that being said, it is old and very quirky and definitely more on the lines of roughing it. If you can appreciate a cool piece of history and want to stay close to Death Valley it does the job…"
