"This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. "A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us.
Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens.
Great safe parking in the back of the inn.

"Honestly, you can’t really call this a hotel - it’s more of a motel. For the price they charge, you could get a much nicer and more comfortable place to stay in Vancouver instead.
The rooms are very outdated, and the cleanliness could definitely have been better. Even basic things you would expect from any standard hotel, like ear plugs, were unavailable, and the front desk staff rolled their eyes when asked simple questions. Overall, the customer service and experience were disappointing....

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. "Last minute date night booking and it did not disappoint. It is so nice that once you’re there you have everything you need, and if not the front desk will make it so. Dinner was amazing and the views are stunning. It felt like a world away even though it’s a quick drive from home.
