Amenities were amazing! The private onsen was a huge draw. In terms of the food, breakfast was a standout; loved it. And the staff were very attentive! Thank you Fujiwara-san!

This place was phenomenal! The staff are very attentive. There was any amenity you could possibly need. It’s located in the mountains and was so peaceful and private. We had a private onsen in our room and it was the best! I highly recommend getting their dinner. As we left they even gave us a souvenir of bath salts that looks high quality. My only regret is not being able to stay longer!

Extended our stay for a second night! Just perfect. Perfect perfect food, perfect access to Hakone loop, perfectly helpful staff. This was the most relaxing experience we’ve had in Japan and with the best staff imaginable. This place is a must see and must stay! Also, the robe and slippers were by far the most comfortable we’ve encountered

Nazuna Hakone Miyanoshita was such an amazing Ryokan. I will definitely stay again the staff were so friendly and kind. The Japanese style breakfast & dinner was phenomenal. I miss my Japanese Pajamas which were so comfortable. I regret not purchasing it.

This was a truly incredible experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel luxurious and relaxing. Akiko (I hope I’m getting the name right!) from our Wagyu service was so wonderful. She was incredibly kind and patient with our English and ensured we had a fantastic experience. The food is some of the best we’ve had in Japan. Both the Wagyu and sukiyaki course were incredible and the staff played a very large role in that. Both nights we asked for our dessert in our room and it was fantastic! And of course, the room was so comfortable and the onsen was a dream. I will recommend this stay to anyone and everyone!

Omg. This was the main event of our japan trip. We decided to go to this property from Kyoto to Tokyo and spent one day soaking and recharging. The food was excellent, the service was amazing and the rooms were exactly what we expected. Highly recommend.

Staying at Nazuna was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Every single aspect of our stay exceeded expectations — the beautifully designed rooms, the onsen, the food — but what made it truly special was the staff. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine smiles made us feel at home from the very first moment. It's rare to find hospitality this sincere. We will absolutely be back, and we couldn't recommend Nazuna more highly.
