Although it is advertised on numerous websites that the rooms are air conditioned the airconditioning had broken so there was nothing on the hottest day of the year. There was air conditioning in the reception that was working and units installed the rooms with control panels but were not working. Their explanation was that the pump or condenser was not working. "Bed was comfortable and breakfast very nice. Negatives - no air con on a very hot day/night and shower problematic. Couldn’t avoid getting hair wet, shower head too high to adjust and no soap in dispenser. Otherwise all good."

"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."
