"This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I paid £55 for a night's bed and breakfast on a Saturday (the Travelodge nearby was £150 room only!). The common areas (reception and bar) were very nicely decorated / furnished and felt more like a higher priced hotel. "The Pack Horse Inn was absolutely amazing! I’m a frequent traveler and this has by far been one of my favorite places to stay. The location was perfect and since I’ve always wanted to stay out in the countrysides of town and away from the city to enjoy the scenery, walks, and quiet. "I stayed here for one night while visiting my brother in Bramhall. It is a lovely, quiet country inn, not far from Stockport station. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The shower had lovely hot water with a huge bathtub. All the staff was so kind and could not be more pleasant. I also invited a family of six that night for dinner and everything on the menu was delicious. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel."

"Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. "
