"The Lighthouse View Motel surpassed our expectations. My friends and I spent four nights there, and it was the best experience we've ever had. The place is very clean and safe, and the staff is very friendly. It feels like a family. We also learned a lot about our daily itinerary and other activities in the area. "A lovely hotel with helpful staff and nice amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub and indoor pool upon arrival. We were early for our reservation but the staff was accommodating and let us use the facilities until our room was ready. We were checked in 3 hours early which was wonderful after a long morning of traveling. The staff continued to be of assistance throughout our stay. Every request was met with a smile and immediate action. The convenient location and beautiful views are well worth it....
"Arrived about 5 hours early before check-in. Even with the craziness of the holiday weekend, they were able to get me checked in 3 hours earlier than anticipated. Room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel was located close to downtown St. Ignace, and had quick access to the bridge. Which allowed us to beat a lot of the traffic going back south. Breakfast was great, service was great, we will definitely be back!"

It is right on the water so you definitely have to deal with the fish flies! The staff do their best to clean it up every morning. The rooms themselves are pretty typical, but roomy given how little you are paying for it."
