"All perfect except no gym! Not right for sucha standing hotel"

"The hotel and its staff were excellent. However, there was a major soccer game the evening that we stayed, and we were not able to park on the property, but had to park a mile away. The hotel staff said that they reached out through Expedia to send us at least two separate messages talking about the soccer game and that we would not have parking. We received two emails from Expedia, but no messages were actually relayed to let us know about the parking situation. If the hotel is going to reach...

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

"The apartment had everything we needed and was clean. Can’t ask for more."

"The rooms need to be maintained and need to be properly renovated and refreshed. Hallways were smelly. Bed covers and bedding were dirty for the pull out couch, which was very cheap feeling material. There was hair on the headboard of the bed in main room. Breakfast was expensive and basic vs just going into town. Location of the hotel is central."

"I went with the bunk bed room despite being a solo traveller and was apprehensive cause I just needed a single but the bottom bunk had a little lamp and curtain so at the end of the night it felt like I was being wrapped up in a little nest - bedding so good I didn’t like my bed at home when I went back 😂"

"Lovely restored house in a neighborhood (more like a B&B). There is a bus that runs into Edinburgh proper or you can take the mile walk. The hotel gives very good recommendations for local dining. Parking can be difficult (limited on-street parking for non-residents). No eating in the rooms."
