"Beautiful hotel in an extremely convenient location to the train station (Waverly) and to the main downtown area. Top floor check in and champagne bar was also very beautiful and it is a nice touch to get a free glass of champagne (or non-alc bev) when you check in, and there were a lot of free drinks and snacks in the room. Only downside is that in the evening, we had significant trouble with slow wifi that made it very difficult to stream movies/shows."

"I have to start by saying how amazing the communication was with Mary and Laurence. As theres no front desk it’s all via message. The room was nice & big & in an amazing location. Right near some great ice cream and coffee shops. I did request an earlier check in so not sure what happened but that’s fine as check in was all online and we left our bags whilst we grabbed lunch across the street. A few minor points for me the room didn’t have AC and yes it wasn’t listed as an amenity but I assumed...

"This place tries very hard for a slick, modern vibe but fails on all the basics. A good hotel should be comfortable, clean, quiet, and convenient. Other than location, this hotel fails on all of those points. I shouldn't have to physically climb over my sleeping partner to get out of bed, for example, or turn all the lights on just to figure out how to work a touchpad to turn one specific light on or off. The shower shouldn't be mouldy and the floor dirt-covered, ever, and the once-per-week (!)...

"The location of this property is amazing! The back drop of the castle was fantastic. There was surprisingly a lot of space in the studio apartment. Extremely comfortable and an aspect of the garden to look out of over meal times. There was some issues with the maintenance of the property that the owner was quick to get back to us on. The tv was not a smart up to date tv so we were unable to watch our shows. Note; Bring your own fire stick!"
