"Great dog friendly hotel, staff very accommodating"

"Excellent choice for where to stay for the Nottingham Tennis and to pick up my child from Nottingham University halls. Everything worked a treat. Child was less than 5 minutes away so I could say hi, drop off a takeaway and load up the car for end of year departure. In between all this, I enjoyed a beautiful walk to the tennis, uber'd back for under £6, enjoyed cocktails and a delicious posh meal at the hotel restaurant, who also do a useful buffet breakfast in the mornings. "Hotel is near the Jubilee campus but not near city centre. Clean and big room and staff was helpful. We had to pay for carpark at £6 per day. There used to be free carpark before this. It would be good if hotel guests are given free carpark like before as the price of the hotel stay is not cheap."

"In general the hotel was of a good standard the food was very good at breakfast I feel that it lacked choice and beverages should of been more accessible. The bedroom was of a very good standard but lacked a blind so that the curtains could be open and still have privacy where as now once the curtains are open there is no privacy and people can look in from the car park. The shower area could do with a shelf for the shampoo and body wash or dispenser."

"The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. "Food, staff and on site facilities were all excellent. However, I was in room 35. It has a fixed pane window. There is no way of letting air flow through the room whatsoever. I really don't think this is acceptable under environmental health. There is no air conditioning unit or extractor in this room. A fan is provided, but all this does is move the hot air around. At night, there's no way you can let cooler air into the room whatsoever. It's the same stuffy air, heated up by the sun...

"If you are visiting Sheffield you can’t go wrong with a stay at this hotel. So easy into sheffield( we were at the Arena) lovely and clean and new. Fab staff and service and food was great in restaurant."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. Its perfect if you are working away etc. Spacious accommodation with a nice shower and you can park right outside your chalet. I had a great night's sleep. No complaints"

"Staff were polite and welcoming. The lady at the desk in the dining room took time to walk around checking guests were OK. I gave an overall 4- star because my request for late check-out wasn't effected and I had to go back to reception to get it implemented. "

"The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"
