"We love this site in Windermere and Top Lodge was a pleasure to stay in. The rooms were all clean and the beds were comfortable. Looked for a pet friendly option and this was perfect for us. The weather wasn't great and so we watched alot of TV, the only downside was the signal was poor but hey, nothing major."

"Recommend! Lovely house in a great location in Windermere. Inside feels modern yet classic featuring all the mod cons (except dishwasher). Everything works and is to a high standard. The owners or manager’s left a nice welcome present and folder with print out of all the features, amenities and processes to follow for our stay which we thought was a good touch. "Went on a freinds trip and we absolutely loved it! Got so much more than we expected for the affordable price. Great location, private parking for 2 cars (although very tight and got blocked in a couple times), and generous space. Kitchen was very well equipped."

"The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. "
