"Hotel staff was amazing. However, this is more of a long term, live in, motel. Photos on Expedia are very deceiving. Permanent residents can be confrontational and make you uncomfortable. Make sure you have a full inventory of any pool supplies/toys, or you will be accused of stealing from the long term residents. If the listing was actually accurate we definitely would NOT have booked here."

"Everything on this property that I saw appeared clean & updated with colorful/pleasing design. Lots of families with children appeared to be enjoying breakfast and the pool, yet the hotel was still quiet. 2 different front desk ladies seemed to be offended that we asked for additional blankets. Each replied, “There is one in your closet”, to which we replied, “There are 4 people in our room”. However, housekeeping was very kind when they brought more blankets. Will definitely stay here again...

Breakfast food is well prepared and plentiful with wonderful assortment of choices. pool in nice for stretching but small for full laps. Temperature was perfect. not too cold or hot."

"My room was clean and comfortable. They could use some soft close arms on the gym and pool doors. My room was just about across from them and I heard repeated slamming of the doors. Spa was down and children took over the pool."

"We've stayed there 2 years in a row for a Girls' Weekend in downtown Grand Rapids. We even booked the same room the second time! Just loved it! Close to everything in Downtown! All the restaurants we went to were great, reasonable, and within walking distance (and I highly recommend Tupelo Honey, which is right across the street). We stayed in a 2 bed / 2 bath with a kitchen, living room, dining table, and the city view. Aside from creaky floors, it's a fantastic unit! Plenty of space for...

"The hot tub wasn't filled which wasn't noted when booking. They didn't clean fully because when I pulled the two foot stools away from the sofa bed there was a cough drop, tag of some sort, and a yellow portable plug someone had left behind which indicated they did not clean the floors. Made me feel like the whole room probably wasn't cleaned properly. The Kleenex box was also empty. Also the free breakfast didn't open until 7am opposed to 6am during the week.
