"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service. The decision was made...

"The double bed was noisy and shaky with any shift or movement felt, probably needs tightening the bolts/nuts. One single bunk bed (bottom) mattress was uncomfortable, probably springs are finished. Shower is very tiny. Service was great though, and breakfast was great as well. "

"The Male on Reception was lovely, really polite. The rooms didn't look anything like the photos. It was freezing in the room, i had to sleep with multiple layers on. There was no TV remote, The view from the window was horrible. There was a 21st birthday party, it was so noisy, and people sat on the steps drunk when we was trying to get to our room. The food at the restaurant wasn't great and the prices were high for the quality. I wouldnt return but the staff were lovely. "

"We absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds really comfortable. It could do with an update and refurb in certain areas but this doesn't affect the quality of the stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. We will be making further bookings in the future."

"The hotel itself was clean and in a great location, only a short walk to Central Pier and Blackpool Tower. The room was a bit small and the matress was a bit soft, but comfortable enough. The TV was mounted towards the side of the bed which wasn't ideal as we had to either sit up against the wall or watch lying on our sides."
