"Amazing opportunity to stay in a real castle with such a rich history. The staff, especially Jon, were outstanding. Everyone was so accommodating. It seems like they have been making constant improvements to the property. The spa closes early (6p) and several amenities in the spa were out of order. "Our stay was great! We had a late night drink in the bar one evening, and breakfast and coffee one morning. The room was the perfect size for myself and my husband and our two suitcases. The bathroom was a great size, and the area was very quiet, safe and very walkable to all popular sites. I wish the room had a/c, even in a Scottish September it was a bit stuffy and warm. "
