"Staff was extremely helpful, and we loved our view! Having a room with a terrace meant we had a smaller room which proved to be pretty tiny. Some nice amenities and good breakfast. Incredible location, so close to everything we wanted to do."

"Stayed in a room with twin beds. Room was clean and new. Quiet at night, slept well, good shower. Good breakfast-eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cold cuts, cheese, breads, fruit and juices. Walking distance to Edinburgh Tram. Front desk staff would not give us a late check out by one hour. Very annoying male breakfast worker moved us from the our table. We initially sat at a table for 2, but moved because a man sat nearby that had doused himself with a bottle of cologne. We moved to a table...

"Incredible location, five minute walk from the train station (though uphill) and right in Old Town. Place is clean and stylish, and the jail cell rooms are charming. Laundry was a plus."

"The hotel is in a lovely building, but the decor in our room was odd and dated - it needed a bit of tlc and updating in our opinion. Lovely views of the city and beyond. We wish the blinds/curtains had been black out, as it got quite light in the morning. The big light in our room flickered a lot, so we couldn’t use it. Free parking was great. The room was cleaned each day and had basic amenities - kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board and a safe in the wardrobe."

"It has small bar and very accommodating staff , breakfast is good for the price I pay.We managed to check in early as the room is available and we did had a good rest as we have an early flight. Location is walkable to prince st. And deans village but you can get a bus going to town centre."

"It was old with a moldy bathtub and dingy carpets. Still, there was a lot of space and the access to the pool/sauna/hot tubs, etc, made it overall a good value."
