"The bathroom was lovely and great toilet paper quality and towels, nice toiletries too. Nice tea tray and bed was comfy. However there was a gaping hole filled with cobwebbed pipes and the view out of the window was over bins. The room was cold but a portable heater was provided and sufficient. Dinner was great, the food was of an acceptable quality but the star of the show was the staff that served dinner. They were not intrusive, but were so helpful, a great steady pace of service. "Had a lovely overnight stay with nice dinner & good breakfast."

"We were refused service at the restaurant, when we told staff we were willing to wait they said no point you probably won’t get a table. Then we asked if we could eat in our room and they said no. Effectively giving us no food options we had to order pizza as we are unfamiliar with the area and there was nothing within walking distance."

"The pub was fantastic all the staff and locals made us feel very welcome even bringing a sausage and a bit of steak out for our dog. The food was amazing all top quality and the room was incredible, double walk in shower and stand alone bath. Just what was needed after a fab day walking Pendle top!! We will defo be back"
