Every staff member we encountered was polite, welcoming, and eager to help. The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep. Not only is it luxurious and friendly, but you'll find at least 5 taxis by it at any time (a definite plus when certain Metro lines are being repaired). Added bonus: the signature house fragrance is unspeakably delicious. You will love your stay here!"

"Was dissappoonted there is no EV charger when the Expedia webpage states there is. This was the main reason for booking this property. Otherwise it was a nice stay and it is a nice hotel. The speakeasy downstairs was very nice and food was really good at cafe Riggs"

"Nice location, except that when Mr. President decides to come out, H street is the first one to get traffic control, ie, blocked., Hotel entrance needs a better sign. The only real problem is that room service is not responding to request really well and it does take some efforts to get sets of clean towels."

"Loved the hotel. Would've preferred a room facing the roof on 2nd floor. Not a nice esthetic but appreciated facing the front street Room was very nice and spacious. Only real issue is we couldn't control the AC/Heat. They had to.bring us a space heater. Wish I knew that upfront so I didn't come back to a cold room when it was 50 degrees outside and raining. Otherwise would definitely book again."
