HONEST REVIEW – 7.5/10
Overall, I feel the hotel is overpriced for what it offers. After getting to know the island, there are other beautiful hotels that provide the same experience for less money. This place looks luxurious, but the service and maintenance don’t match that level. I wouldn’t return.
Design – 9/10
One of the most beautiful hotels in Holbox. Just note that it’s a bit far from the town center (about 8 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes walking).
Beach – 10/10
Absolutely stunning. Beautiful beach with great loungers and beach beds.
Room – 6/10
The room is nice but has several issues. Hot water is limited to certain hours and isn’t very hot. The shower water flow is uneven due to poor maintenance. Most disappointing: the bathtub didn’t work properly—the drain didn’t seal and water leaked. I chose the Honeymoon room specifically for the tub, so this was very frustrating.
Service – 7/10
Staff is friendly but clearly understaffed. Service is slow, mistakes are common, we were charged incorrectly more than once, and food was sometimes served cold. Ordering from the beach often means long waits.
Pool – 6/10
Nice pool, but badly located. It gets no sunlight due to surrounding cabins, which ruins the experience.
Food – 7/10
Average and very overpriced. You’ll eat much better and cheaper in town.
Atmosphere & Extras
Calm, as expected, but very boring at night. Tours booked through the hotel are extremely overpriced—book them in town instead.
