"This resort is the best!! Everyone is kind and goes out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The property is beautiful and well planned and maintained. Swim-up pool is amazing! Victor and Julio and Carlos and Mario are incredible and felt like family!"

"Had a great stay at this beautiful family friendly property. Beach is awesome but does have quite a but of seaweed not nearly as bad as other properties. Pools are scattered most of the property but are fun when you get used to it. Kids club and waterpark is great for the kids just no food and beverage allowed. Main pool is kind of disappointing since there is not enough chairs and umbrellas in the area. Service is friendly across the board. Restaurants were a miss for me. Teppanyaki was fun and had decent food. Most other restaurant are definitely not as good as other luxury properties. All in all a solid stay."

"The rooms were great. The check in process was very easy, as was the check out. No complaints there. The food at five of the six restaurants was great. We did not eat at the high end gourmet restaurant. But as far as food was concerned everything was very on point. The service in the restaurants was pretty great as well. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant as they served beef filet. The four pools were really clean and nice. The bar service was also fast. If you actually tip the guys walking around (we tipped the same guy for a whole day as we were in the same pool), you will get excellent service. The gift shop is nice, but if you’re really looking for souvenirs do yourself a favor and uber in to town and go to one of the malls. Although the gift shop is nice and they have high quality items, it’s very easy to spend a lot of money quickly there. We didn’t use the spa or the gym, so I can’t speak to either of those. But they do also have a big outdoor sports bar and night club type situation if you’re looking for after hours fun. The property is very large so be prepared to walk quite a ways to and from the beach/pools. The pools tend to get warm like bath water by early afternoon so keep that in mind as well. The property also will not break down larger bills for smaller bills for tipping, so you need to bring that ahead of time. The place is really great though if you’re looking for something outside of the main resorts. We loved it."

"Majestic Elegance lives up to its name, everywhere you looked was truly elegant. From the moment you step inside, you feel pampered and taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed all the resort had to offer from the delicious restaurants and the amazing staff and entertainment team. There was always something to do, someone making sure you had a drink in your hand, and the butler attentively making sure you had all our needs met. We left already planning our return trip!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the staff was generally good. I gave it 3 stars because, for the amount of money we spent on two rooms, I expected a higher level of luxury and service. During the first two days, we had difficulty finding a server to bring drinks and food. For our family of seven, including three young children, this meant we had to get our own drinks and leave the pool to pick up lunch ourselves. The food was good, but it lacked a more authentic flavor. I also found the staff repeated attempts to schedule a meeting with the concierge frustrating. From day one, I made it clear that I was not interested, but I was still contacted for the next three days about dinner reservations, off-property activities, and eventually a timeshare presentation. Since I had paid full price and have a busy everyday life, I simply wanted to spend my free time with my kids and family. The most disappointing part of the trip was not being allowed to sit near the pool because we were not members. If I had known this was a members hotel or timeshare property, I would have stayed elsewhere. It made us feel like second-class guests. I’ve stayed at other upscale properties near Playa del Carmen where the service was excellent and there weren’t so many rules of what is included in our room-price as simple as where we can sit in the pool area and limitation to the menu with sur-charges. Also, the beach was not as beautiful as other part of Cancun."

"Beautiful resort! Nice and clean! Make sure to book the excellence suites…rooftop pool was top tier!!! The staff were exceptional and very helpful any time you needed anything! The food by far was the best we’ve ever had and consistent throughout our entire stay! Will definitely book again!"

"Rooms were way better than other resorts I’ve stayed at and quite spacious! The variety of pools and beach access was top notch. There is limited family areas at the beach and general pool area which I thought could’ve been better divided between the other adult only pools as they had tons of extra chairs and space when the family areas were always packed. But the kid areas were great aswell."
