Tru by Hilton Knoxville North I75

"The check in was great. I had a great experience with Sue on check in. Upon check out I was asked about my medical support animal and specific HIPPA questions. I offered a letter from my doctor which was declined upon checking in and when I offered it after being confronted about it upon check out, the woman decided she didn’t need it. She asked me specifically why I had the animal in front of other customers. It was rude. I offered to hand her a letter and she could read why. If this is how you do business I am never interested in returning. She then scoffed that it was a cat and not a dog. He has been specifically trained to notice changes in my behavior. It was embarrassing. "

"I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for an air conditioner that smelled like urine when operating. Luckily it wasn’t too warm overnight and we didn’t use it. Other than that I was really pleased with the room and how clean it was. "

"While traveling, we received a call that staff didn't have the king room available that we had booked, instead asking if we would take a queen. May asked us to call back. However, no matter how many times we tried, no one answered front desk. Corporate was no help to us. Orbiz/Expedia said that cancelling would forfiet our money. When we arrived we were given the queen and two goodie bags, each containing a bottle of water and a bag of Skinny Pop. No refund or adjustment to the room rate we had paid. There was no hair dyer (guests must check them out), only a tiny bar of soap and one tiny container of shampoo, no hand towels, and the TV didn't work (an employee did fix that), The floor was tacky in areas. Maid was knocking on our door before check out time the next morning. Will never stay here again or recommend it. It was so frustrating for two weary travelers. "

"Breakfast tasted amazing, breakfast lady was nice but not if you grabbed extra food, made a slight face at my friend but it was more of a like “dang are you going to eat all of that look” 😂 . the room was clean, guy at the front desk was great. Would definitely stay again if I visited "

Baymont by Wyndham Knoxville I-75

"This is a basic hotel/motel which is dated and quite old. We stayed because of its proximity to the I-75 and because it’s pet friendly. Cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom, really needs to be improved. Staff were helpful, but were run off of their feet. Breakfast was surprisingly good, given the price of the room. No eggs, but Belgian waffles, etc. Area was relatively safe. Restaurants were nearby, but we drove to a mall about 2 miles away as there were many more choices. Parking is plentiful. Stay if you have to, but next time we will spend the extra money for a better option."

"Great customer service. The room itself was nice, except it appeared that my shower could have use a little attention around the edges and where the soap goes. Other than that the room was well kept. The only other issue I had was with the hall floor on the 4th floor needs to be cleaned as it was stained throughout. Everything else was fine as microwaves for each room should come soon."
