"Really like the historical aspect to the hotel. It was very clean, very well-maintained. Love the location. Parking was a breeze. And Tamara at the front desk was over the top delightful. "When we go to Sutter Creek we usually stay at the hotel Sutter and have enjoyed it. This trip however did't go near as well. Check in was fine, but the girl was a bit confused on some items, such as, that in the morning there would be muffins and things and coffee starting at 6am - didn't happen. As we were settling into our room a cockroach ran across the carpet (I did tell front desk). Wasn't clear where the ice machine was, but eventually found it. We didn't realize we were put in the room...

"It was an amazing stay, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the outside was amazing, the locals were incredibly friendly, the music room was awesome and I definitely recommend everyone to give this hotel a chance, it was probably my favorite one to stay at and given the beautiful surrounding areas makes it that much better"

"A lot of the furniture was damaged or straight up broken. The shower head was leaking from the actual shower head (not the connection). The beds were horrendous - uncomfortable and felt unstable. There was hair all over the bathroom. The breakfast was okay, but almost zero gluten free options."

They had to open our door remotely which I felt was not safe. We had an upstairs room, where we had to climb up unsafe stairs with metal plates in two spots to support the broken slats you walked on.
