"We loved our stay at the Courtney Palace. It was the perfect place for us to stay in Victoria Falls. The location was great. It is a walk to the falls, but we really enjoyed the walk through the city to visit the shops and see local life. In fact, we encountered baboons, warthogs and saw an elephant right in the city. The wildlife experience is really something else there! The room was spacious and you really feel like you are having a local, but luxurious experience. It truly felt like...

Coffee unfortunately was not very good but the very restaurant staff especially Beatrice and Nyash were very helpful. They are doing renovations and the rooms in this stable wing are not easily accessible as you have to walk on the road and through a poorly lit alley to access that wing. Wi-Fi was very good and water pressure in showers was very good."

"I was super excited about staying at Liam's. The proximity to town was good and a safe walking distance. The pros are the staff, they are very accommodating and professional. The breakfast was good an they let you do modifications which allowed me to save food by only ordering what I wanted. I have crazy hot flashes so the fan next to the bed was a huge plus. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The cons are the air conditioning unit leaks very badly, hot water is scarce and I hate cold...

"Staff were excellent, cleaned the room well and were always nice. There is a lot of work that needs to be done with the property itself ie New Doors. The towels could do with replacing. The breakfast area isn't the best, but they could set outside as it's not been raining.Coffee wasn't the best. The breakfast could do with a few options being added. "

"Shoestrings has a laid back casual vibe. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The meals were well prepared and tasty. A walk with the lions was arranged by the hostel and went very smoothly. There was a football watch party and a sing along. Altogether a pleasant experince."
