"After 2.5 weeks of 2*/3*/4* hotel stays throughout England during a record breaking heatwave this was the ONLY hotel with A/C, a fridge in the room, and less importantly a phone. PLENTY of parking, nice restaurants and VERY helpful staff, and only 15 minutes from Heathrow. Will definitely stay again (especially during a heatwave!!)"

"2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....

"The staff is wonderful the food and the bar was great. The only problem is the property is old. It is 11 century. It was cold in our room. We had to get an extra heater, but the Inn provided that and there was an issue with the water, we had no hot water one day. But again it’s 11 century Inn, I think it’s great for a night or two, but we stayed four nights, probably won’t do that again only because of the age, TV also was not working properly. "We stayed in one of the green wing family rooms. Overall the room size was spacious and ample space for two adults with 2 toddlers. But the sofa bed which is meant for two kids, was absolutely shocking, the sofa bed had seen better days, and it dipped and Mattress was thing as paper, not comfortable for anyone to sleep on. These rooms don’t have air con, but the fan they supply to the room of this size is a table top desk can, 15cm in height. Overall on the face it, it was a well maintained...

"From the carpets in the halls to the bathroom shower everything was nasty. There is a point in time that a hotel needs repairs, very convenient location and that was the reason we stayed but not worth it at all."
