"Our stay started with a major issue. The morning after our late arrival (1:30 AM), we discovered our room carpet was completely soaked due to a ceiling leak. This caused water damage to my suitcase, including shoes, clothing, and personal items, as well as our 5-year-old daughter’s backpack with books and toys. We estimate about $1,000 in damage. Although we were moved to another room and given one night compensation, this was agreed to before we understood the full extent of the damage.
