"This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. "Truly lovely, hospitable, courteous staff. Came during a tough snow weekend and the owners were present and so kind to shovel out the parking lot, cars parked there, etc. The establishment is very clean but maintains so much character. Had their breakfast which was wonderful and lots of locally sourced ingredients, 100% would recommend and come back!! Thank you for such a lovely stay!!"
