"This a a decent hotel in many respects but we did not have a satisfactory experience.
When checking in, the clerk was abrupt and not friendly. He assigned us to an adjoining room which we realized was a mistake around 4:30am when the guest next door alarm went off three times, once every 5 minutes or so. The door between the rooms was a single door with about an inch and one half space at the bottom so every sound he made was heard. Around 5AM he shouted an expletive and began vomiting and flushing the commode repeatedly. About 5:30 he called a woman and was cursing and speaking in a very loud voice, then he put her on speaker for about a 20 minute conversation. Needless to say, we got no sleep from 4:30 AM on after a late check in.
When I spoke with Jason, the manager, he was apologetic but said he could not waive our first night payment, only $25 that he was authorized to grant. He was able to move us to another room and the 2nd and 3rd nights were fine regarding noise. When I checked out, the $25 credit was not on my bill. Sonny, the manager on duty said the Jason had left nothing about the credit but he would be sure I was contacted by email to resolve this.
Our second room had a dead cockroach in the bathroom but otherwise it was clean and comfortable.
I will not be staying in this hotel or probably not any Best Western in the future. I could not recommend this hotel for the reasons I listed above. It's less expensive but it's not worth the price difference."
