"This trip was just what we needed. My husband has a terminal illness and the ocean seems to soothe both of our souls. We could sit anywhere in our room and see the ocean. Even though he could not make it out to the water, he could hear the waves rolling in and feel that ocean breeze. Everything we needed was on-site and the staff could not have been friendlier. I do want to give a Shout-Out to Patina Henry, who worked diligently to allow us to add another night to our trip. Her efforts did not go unnoticed! Thanks Patina!!! The room was clean, functional, well-equipped with what we needed and the staff constantly asked if we needed anything. Room service was wonderful, the food at Molly's was perfect, and the view was spectacular. Thanks Double Tree by Hilton Atlantic Beach for a wonderful experience!"

"Older property but remodeled interior. We were specifically looking for the retro vibe and this property fit the bill. Short boardwalk to the uncrowded beach which was great as well. "

"I loved the feel and the vibe here. Never been to Pine Knolls, loved the kicked back, easy pace and the whole experience! Great extras, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, everything needed was there. Friendly staff, just a great stay!"

"The rooms were comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering how close the road is to the property. I have family in the area and will most likely stay again. The desk staff was fantastic and had a sense of humor...a plus !!"

"Recognizing that this is not a four or five star property, but a well utilized, near beachfront motel with some age on it, we had an excellent stay! We needed to get our toes in the sand so we purchased one night, at a very reasonable rate, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly, and though the rooms have some age on them, it was clean and comfortable. I might not stay here more than a couple nights, simply because there's no kitchen, but a very enjoyable stay for a night or two for us. We will be back! Ps- My only complaint was the air conditioner could not keep up with how hot it was outside, so it was quite warm in the room (but I brought a small fan to help with that). The bathroom could use some new grout, but it was clear that they keep it clean despite the sea salt and sand."

"Stopped by the beach for a few days with the family. My wife, daughter, and myself stayed for 2 days. We were able to check in a couple hours which was great. Our room was clean and spacious. The pools and hot tub were awesome. The only downside was the walk from our room to the beach. We were on the opposite side of the property."

"Absolutely enjoy our overnight stay. Wish it had been for much longer. The Inn itself is beautiful. The staff was sweet and amazing. The continental breakfast was excellent and served on a tray to your room! The shampoo, lotion, hand wash, smelled so good I had to buy some to take home with me. If I could I would literally move in. Just go there. It’s lovely and you can walk to many shops, restaurants, boat tours, and of course the beach is great also"
