"Literally needed a police escort to leave this place due to a situation with a fight that led to some drunk friend of the innkeeper following us to our Suite screaming at us. We had to lock ourselves in the room... We never met the actual innkeeper Tina. She was nowhere to be found. We met Kyle who PORTRAYED himself as the innkeeper. During our entire stay, there were constantly random people coming in and out of the innkeeper's apartment at all hours of the day. And on the last night of our...

Top Virginia Beach City County Hotel Reviews

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Virginia Beach (Oceanfront)

8/10 Good

"We loved the oceanfront balcony but would have liked to have a small table between the 2 chairs. The walk-in shower is great, but as seniors would like a safety bar on the shower wall for additional security. These are only suggestions for seniors accessibility rooms. Would return for another vacation. Thanke"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites VA Beach Oceanfront by IHG

8/10 Good

"We choose this hotel because we have stayed at other IHG hotels. The front desk staff are super helpful and friendly. They will help you in any way they can. Housekeeping was excellent. They are on it when you ask for anything. Breakfast was good. As usual they don’t season due to diet restrictions and the food was good with a little salt and pepper. Loved the pancakes. The juice, however, is extremely watered down so do yourself a favor and drink coffee, milk or tea or buy a juice at the snack shop at the desk. Beds were a little hard for my liking but the others with me were comfortable. Wonderful ocean view from the 5th floor. As for leaving off one star that was for the pool. It’s very small and awkwardly shaped. If you have more than 4 people in at a time you don’t have much room to move around and you definitely can not do any type of laps. Granted you’re at the ocean and a pool is not necessary but it’s hard to do laps or any kind of relaxing in the ocean."

Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We loved the ability to use amenities from the 3 properties. The free shuttle to the Historic Cavalier Hotel awesome! We ate at Becca’s and our meal was 5-Star as always. I would just remind myself to book on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday as they are when there is music. We also love the feel of being in the Bahamas with the view, the seating and the music!"
