"Tsuyu Room (3nites) We enjoyed our stay in this serene modern rokyan with sandal wood scent in the premises. Love the outdoor private onsen. Upon request, they replace beef with other options. "The room was very comfortable, the place is clean and the attention to detail is great. The staff, though remote was very helpful. It is extremely well located, a stone throw away from the train. 5-10 minutes walk from good restaurants, hiking trails and temples. I highly recommend if you want an authentic feeling, cozy space. "

"The futon’s aren’t very thick so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re a side sleeper. Other than that our stay was great. The owner, Yudai, is incredible and has an excellent sense of hospitality. When I come to Hakone again this place will be at the top of my list. "

"My daughter and I stayed here for a night. Ted, who greeted us, was so welcoming and cheerful. He explained the house to us, gave us recomendations for dinner and for sight seeing. The outdoor onsen was amazing!! And private! They also offered complimentary coffee and tea in the common area. I will definetly come back if we are in the area again! "
