"Everything was clean and the room did not smell stale and stink like some rooms. The only complaint was the bed was hard and a little high for old fat people. I loved the creek outback. "This is reviewed by someone that typically stays in timeshares and resorts but enjoys experiencing small town motels every now and again. Stay was good. 3 nights with family. Frankie, the front staff person, was very accommodating and nice. Rooms are being updated but are very small. Enough room for the beds and furniture but not much else. "What a gem this hotel was. It was a bit of a lucky find but glad we found it. Rooms were modern but had a rustic vibe. Room was also very spacious with a lot of room to move about. Very nice porch as well with a lovely babbling brook right outside the door. The only drawback was the 2 skylights that let in dawns light at 6am every morning, hence the 3 stars on comfort. We got used to it but it would be nice to have something set up to shade the light. We also liked easy access to extra towels...
