"This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟"

"It wasn’t very clean 80’s style tub in the middle of the room. The carpet wasn’t clean. Typically when we stay in a Holiday Inn it is generally clean and well maintained. The desk clerk that checked us in was not friendly. I had asked if there was a room with a view of the lake. She was like nope this is it."

"I’m not even sure how or why this place has good reviews. Not only was the property run down, the staff was rude and the bedding was dirty. I would advise you to literally stay at any other property. I thought for approx $250 that this was a middle of the road place to stay but I was sadly mistaken."

"The room was clean. The beds were comfortable but the pillows sucked. they flaten out and could not get comfortable on the neck. Breakfast was good had every thing for people on restricted diets."

"Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat."

"We booked our stay at this hotel and found it to be in a great location for shopping and eating. The real issue is the facilities are outdated and the place needs to be renovated. Our toilet was not mounted properly, the wall paper was poorly maintained and the overall decor of the room was extremely dated. The beach access was nice, but there needs to be better maintenance of the area and lounge chairs on the beach. We will not be staying here again in the future, unless they put some money...
