"Everything was very nice"

"I entered the building by a leaving patron because no one was at the front desk for at least 30 minutes. No one answered the telephone either. When I checked into my room, big pieces of paint were literally chipped away inside the tub. The only reason I gave staff three stars is because the receptionist quickly gave me a refund with no hassle. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was willing to spend more than $300 for one night in a room that was worse than a motel… not to mention it was outdated."

"I arrived 15 minutes early, but was unable to check in, which is very rare in my experience. I was asked to wait while the front desk associate retrieved her manager. When the manager showed up, I watched as another couple checked in after me (still before check in time). Come check in time, the front desk associate completely ignored me. I reproached her after 3pm, and that same front desk associate said she had to get her manager again. After the front desk person left, a different associate (who was not the manager from before), was able to check me in. Mind you, I was in a King studio for $600/night. I should've requested a different room because of the "white noise" from the HVAC units outside. Because the room does not offer free water, I returned to the lobby to retrieve some from the tank next to the front desk. There were no cups. When I asked for one, the front desk associate asked me to wait while she checked in 3+ different guests/parties. I have a medical condition where I can pass out if I don't stay extremely hydrated, so I plopped myself down on the nearest baggage caddy, and waited for my lightheadedness to subside. I did not have the energy to be more assertive. After the guests cleared, I asked again. The associate had cups RIGHT there at her computer. I couldn't believe I was deprioritized when it would've taken seconds. At check out, I handed my key, and gave my last name to the front desk. An hour later, I get a call to confirm I had checked out?"

"We were visiting a family member at GW and the location was perfect. Parking is pricey but we were so happy to get a spot in the garage. The one problem is there is construction behind the hotel so there was early morning drilling taking place behind our room."

" The hotel was under construction and the elevators did not serve the lobby floor. There was no notice of any of this until arrival nor any price reduction."
