"The room was very clean and we were given fresh towels even though we did not leave the used towels on the floor. The breakfast was delicious with make your own waffles, cereals, muffins etc., and good coffee! They also had popcorn along with the maker in the room which was a nice touch. Beds were very comfortable. Extra bonus was the bus stop that was about 25 yards from the inn and made it very convenient to catch the bus that takes you into Monterey so we didn't have the hassle of...

"This place has a perfect location and the staff is friendly, however the room was very dirty. The floors were so filthy our feet and clothes were black after touching it. The armchair was covered in large stains and there were random hairs on our blankets when we checked in and in the shower. I think if you’re only staying with adults you could just use shoes and be okay, but I have a small child and keeping her off the floor and clean was really hard."

"Came in at nite so did not know how filthy the exterior motel-like entry was until next morning. Should have known what my wife and I were in for when we read the sign in the room that said to not leave food or crumbs on floor due to ants ( yes, a sign, an absolute travel first)! Bathroom fan made loud squeaking noise, a/c unit made squeaking noise all nite, could barely get into the “walk-in” closet, bathroom is pretty much a joke, very little light in the room and room very small and crowded....

"The location is excellent, quiet and cute. We were a late arrival and the staff was there to help us get in. There was plenty of parking. We didn’t use the kitchen but did use the refrigerator. If we stayed more than a night I’m sure we would have used more of the amenities.
The beds were comfy and we all got a good nights sleep."

"A great looking place on the outside and in a wonderful location. Close to great restaurants, tide pools, otters, deer everywhere, but… the walls are the thinnest I’ve ever stayed around. You hear your neighbors regular conversations, snoring, etc. The beds have a weird tin sheeting around the base.
