"Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back"

"We were comfortable in our room but we found it unusual that the cleaning staff weren’t cleaning rooms until very late in the day. So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. The front of the property had two lovely patio sets however staff had overlooked cleaning them, so we gave them a quick brush off so we could use them. "Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."
