"The property was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff was very helpful. "

"Room was beautiful, as was the hotel, loved our little balcony, however, the tiles in the bathroom shower area need repair, were loose and missing grout and the mattress should be replaced "

"The 1852 was a great place to start our tour of Ireland and definitely our stay in Belfast! Check in was smooth and we appreciated them leaving some beers for welcome and to recognize folks checking themselves in. (Unfortunately there appeared to be some folks that thought they needed all the free beer). We had a hike of the stairs as there isn’t an elevator, but loved the room, hotel, pub and location!"

"Our studio was well equipped with everything we needed. The staff are super friendly and checked us in early despite our early flight. They also helped us book our Belfast taxi tour and a taxi to the airport. The area is great and we could walk easily to all our destinations. We didn’t eat at the hotel but we loved the bar and live music each night. The only niggle was the shower where water pressure could be better. Would definitely stay again."

"Loved the tea and coffee service in the room. Breakfast great and restaurant had excellent lunch/dinner. Staff was perfect "

"Lovely room, everyone really helpful. Could benefit from a make up mirror and if you're going during warmer weather just be aware that the air on is quite noisy"
