"We stayed here while attending the Barrie Air Show and unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. The entire property is extremely worn out and in desperate need of renovations. The hallway carpet was so worn down it was exposing the subfloor in places. The room itself was very small. Two people could barely stand beside each other in the narrow hallway area without getting in each other's way. It felt cramped and outdated. Cleanliness was also an issue, as the room...

"Good hotel for a short stay. Wish the breakfast was offered up to 10:00 am; went down at 9:30 am everything was closed. The person at the desk who welcomed us was very kind and professional. While the person at the desk when we left was unfriendly and unhelpful."

"I had a very good and quiet sleep with lots of nice pillows and a very clean bed, as well as a clean room and towels. Checking in was easy with messages arriving in a timely way for how to use the pin to unlock the door. The lamps in the room had outlets to plug in my phone charger and I loved the retro fridge and microwave. The bathroom was spotless and the towels smelled clean and fresh. The only thing I would’ve appreciated is a blow dryer in the bathroom as the one I brought stopped working....

"I found the pool to be very dirty, when we arrived on Saturday afternoon the stairwell smelt like urine. The rooms were very humid even with the air conditioning at full blast and the AC needs to be better or get a second wall unit in the rooms or at least the bigger ones like I had. Aside from that it was okay."

"A great little gem. I always stay here when I am in the area. It is in a great location easily accessed from the 400 hwy and the parking lot is big enough that I have never had trouble maneuvering with a 18’ trailer. It has a great breakfast and free coffee so you can grad a quick refill before you start your day. The staff are also very polite and accommodating when asked."

"They were able to switch my room because of the lacrosse teams were staying on the first floor and I could tell the adjoining door was not sound proof. The lounge area is cozy. Complimentary coffee and muffins were good and the room was clean. "

"I was disappointed to learn when I got to the hotel. That there was no food service on-site. There is a restaurant, but that was booked out for a large group. I reached out to the front desk to see if they had a toothbrush, because I forgot mine, and they didn't. The HVAC in the room was very loud but bed was comfortable."
