"Enjoyed how quiet the resort was. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and felt like home. There was one particular person who made our trip exceptional. Alonso, who sits in a booth outside the resort, went out of his way to get me some distilled water for my CPAP. He drove back to his home town and picked some up for me as we could not find any in the stores nearby. Thanks Alonso, you won't believe how much that meant to us. We did notice that on certain days some restaurants were not open, the brochure said the Japanese place is open on certain days, but the International was closed one evening and the Mexican place was closed another evening leaving a very limited selection. Most days there were no beach chairs available. At check in they clearly say that you can't save chair, yet every morning you would see people out throwing towels on chairs and then leaving. Also, I understand that it is a members resort, however the so called 75 minute presentation was 3hrs. Not to mention the push by sales people to make you become a member was revolting. They say no obligation, but they passed us through five different sales people to try to get a sale. We asked for a copy of the Terms and conditions, but they would not provide it to us unless we put down $1000.00. What company runs this way. Immediately a red flag was raised, what are they hiding. The more they pushed the angrier I got, especially since it took our entire morning. "

"Hotel is fine but the description is misleading and not transparent. Property is not on the beach. You have to go around private houses. Don’t trust the pictures. It says all inclusive but there are many hidden charges. It says amenities but nothing is actually available and you have to pay charges to use certain amenities. So it’s not all inclusive. Hotel and staff are not very flexible. This is different from other all inclusive hotels in Puerto Vallarta. Disappointing. Kids club is not really kids club it’s a small playground "

"The food wasn’t very good. Good enough to get by for a short stay but that’s about it. Bar staff were great and prepared drinks quick but they were really lacking. Very basic. Cleaning staff were very nice but no extras in the room or mini fridge. No pool service for food or drink. Not a bad resort so long as you know ahead of time what you’re going to get. Check in and out were a breeze. Very uncomplicated, front desk staff were very prepared "
