"We really enjoyed our stay at the Pocono Inn Resort, our room was spacious and clean. It also provided plenty of towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion). The beds were also pretty comfortable and the bedding was very nice. Eugene at the front desk was awesome, he was super friendly and we spent quite a bit of time talking with him about the Inn and the local area. He was such a pleasure all weekend. "The property was very nice, and the location very good. I drove into the downtown area of Stroudsburg, and enjoyed exploring the shops, restaurants, and coffee cafes. I think the desk staff could have been a little more enthusiastic, and offered more of a friendly greeting when guests arrived and/or departed. The breakfast offered a variety of choices, and the kitchen staff was very nice & helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. Check in is done through a kiosk with no human present, just on video link. The machine takes credit cards, you sign the rental agreement on screen and it prints receipts and dispenses the room card key. The room was clean but the smell in the room was of old cigarettes and what ever noxious chemicals they use as air freshener. there was an immediate physical reaction to this atmosphere that made it impossible for staying there. "I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay"

"Outside property and surrounding area was beautiful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Toilet too low, mirror over sink to high, and tub didn’t drain. After two showers there was over a foot of standing water. Doors were not the most secure. I would have liked to have known...

"Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful! The breakfasts were amazing and everyone was very friendly! We will definitely book here again the next time we're in the area!"

"Friendly staff and a clean room in a motel-like setting behind one of the few remaining Delaware Water Gap resorts. The original building is closed, so guests stay in the motel rooms behind it. The rooms could benefit from larger and softer towels and some better lighting throughout. The pool looked good though we didn't have time to use it. That being said this is a fine place to stay that is central to all that the Gap and Stroudsburg have to offer. We will likely stay here again."

"Hotel was conveniently located by the Sherman Theater where we had tickets to a show. We were able to walk to & from & felt safe walking at night. Staff was very personable & accommodating. Breakfast had a variety of choices & coffee was always available. Room was clean & beds/pillows comfortable. Only negative was odor in room & hall that was heavily scented with air freshener. We would stay here again when in town for a show."
