"This was an amazing place with an incredible nostalgia. We got there at midnight the first night because of a late flight. One of the members of the family who owned this place, showed up at the gate and let us in. When you get there, you get a key to open the gate into the garden area. On day 2 of our 3 day stay, came back at end if day to find door left open by cleaning staff, who had arrived when we left at 10:30am. Asked for a manager to call and never received a call. Went down stairs on several occasions to speak to a manager, who was never there or available. In addition, coffee not replaced each day and towels were not replaced on final day. "Room smelled like smoke and was humid and musty, the water must have had sulfur because it smelled like rotten eggs and when I told the staff he said to just let it run for a bit like it was normal. It still smelled bad and we had to use water bottles to brush our teeth and held off on showering. Someone kept banging on our door and kept trying to come in two times finally I called front desk they apologized looks like they accidentally gave the wrong room to another party."

"This hotel was above what I expected. The staff was very kind and helpful. The managers were very patient and understanding. Don’t hesitate to speak to any of the staff if you need help with anything they will go out of their way to help you. The breakfast and managers reception had decent food. The hotel is pretty clean. The amenities decent. I will definitely come back here again in the near future."
