"Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for."

"This hotel is an easy bus ride from Heathrow. RailAir A1 from bay 12 level 0 Terminal 2 (and 5). It is also next to Winnersh Rail station. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was superb. Wide selection of traditional fare and East Indian cuisine available throughout the day. The wine list was well above average. There is a Spa, a decent gym with three large windows and a good size pool with day light as well. The Sauna was nice and hot. We used it as a recovery stop between...

"The Market House has very nice employees that will hold your luggage pre and post stay and even deliver to your room. The hotel is very close to the city center. Otherwise, nothing special. Just an average hotel room. Note: You will need to sign a waver releasing them from responsibility in case of fire as there are no functioning windows."

"Excellent location in central Reading. Rooms are clean and modernized with functional air conditioning, which was needed in the hot summer. There was noise from upstairs but staff helpfully gave me a complimentary upgrade into a nicer room. Room rate was very reasonable. Would definitely visit Garner again!"
