"The room itself was very nice, and the host was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, it felt as though the property was closed, which was a little strange. Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper. "The Owners and staff were lovely, Lynn was so helpful and went out of her way. Lynn, Ruby and the handsome Joe was a delight to talk to. Very welcoming and up for a chat, great company when feeling lonely or just want to socialize. The bedroom felt relaxing and the curtians were great at keeping out the cold. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The place is within a walking distance from the train station about a minute at most. Food is not allowed in the bedrooms just as a heads up and...

We were given a room in a bungalow on the grounds which was very private and quite looking onto a garden, I really loved the fact that it had its own private kitchen and the staff were very helpful in providing things that ran out.
