"I am writing regarding my stay at your resort from May 29, 2026 through June 1, 2026. On the morning of May 30, I attempted to make coffee in my room, only to discover that the coffee maker was not working. Before leaving for the day, I stopped by the front desk and informed the staff of the problem. I explained that I had been inconvenienced by having to purchase coffee from Starbucks instead of using the in-room coffee maker. "I knew we were in trouble when I saw the carpet in the hallway. In the room the floor was sticky. Every step in the room we could hear our shoes peeling off of the floor. The shower was dirty. I had to wear crocs in there. The baseboards were filthy. There were streaks of varying colors on the walls. It had a heavy, sour/sweet weird smoky smell. "So I called to inform Rafael that we had a travel delay and would arrive between 3-6AM. We arrived at the hotel only to be informed that he THOUGHT I said I would be there around 3 and my room had been canceled! He offered NO sympathy/empathy/or resolution!"

"Stayed 5 nights. Only 2 nights I was able to sleep through the night. Night 1, woman yelling in hallway and her kids were running and screaming at 2:30am. Night 2, neighbors and kids were in the hallway talking loud and digging through bags with Styrofoam boxes in them. Night 4, neighbor was in and out of their room ALL NIGHT, they had the latch flipped to prop door open and the door shut hard causing it to bounce off the latch eache time they came in and out. "The hotel was filthy. The carpeting in my room was so soiled that it was black and the pattern couldn’t even be seen. I saw the maid using a broom to sweep the carpet not a vacuum cleaner. The screen was ripped so I couldn’t open the window for fresh air. It smelled of smoke. It was rundown in general, chipped furniture, dirty bathroom. There were two dogs in the room next door that barked constantly. My room didn’t get cleaned on day 2."
