"Room was clean and comfortable. Food good. Only problem was the stairs to our room but we were warned about them. Would stay again."

"This was the most expensive stay of our trip. They also charge a $22 extra person fee (There were only two of us.) which I find ridiculous. Our view was also of a brick wall, so for $400 for one night I do not feel we got our money worth on this one. Parking was also a problem. We had to park across the street until the dinner rush was over, then we were able to move our car into the parking lot of the hotel. I honestly expected more."

The staff who greeted us, although polite and, I am sure, followed procedures, made my request of two twins rather than a king for my mother and myself seem like a huge request. "The hotel was perfectly located for our roadtrip. We didn't have to drive into Isle of Skye when we arrived to the area late in the evening. The staff was welcoming and helpful with our late arrival as well. The room was extraordinary. It had a beautiful water view. The vibe at the hotel was quaint and homey. Everything was well maintained and extremely clean. We would stay again."

"It provides basic accommodation, which was all we required for an overnight stay, while walking the Great Glen Way. I would not choose the Ox for a longer stay, but the chalet was clean and reasonably well appointed and the staff were friendly."
