"Just had a superlative stay at this recently refurbished hotel. We were awoken in our charming, comfortable and individual room to deers and donkeys running around in the ground. The public rooms are gorgeous, so much love and taste has gone into designing it and it seems like all the staff genuinely love working here, they are happy and keen to help. The value for money is outstanding. Perfect!"

"Such a warm welcome upon our arrival, and such a lovely, homely place to stay! Don't think we've ever stayed in another B&B like it! We really felt like nothing was too much trouble for Alice and Andrew. They even - without our knowing - took the trouble of trying to source egg-free croissants at their local supermarket. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed 3 days in the room with the private terrace and hot tub which could be enjoyed even in the middle of winter. The pub itself was very welcoming with very good lunch and evening meals and an excellent breakfast. Dogs were also made welcome with an outside area exclusively for them, but it is a shame not all dog owners apprecited this and were not responsible for cleaning up after them. If in the summertime should the pub or the very nice large public gardens get crowded all residents...
