"The view from the lobby and Lakeview rooms is astounding. This hotel is one of many in the area but it stood out to me and my girlfriend. If you want lodging that enhances your stay tenfold choose this hotel. Not a single complaint!"

"Check in staff was not very friendly. Check out was very pleasant. Do not disturb on the door but entered anyway. Breakfast had a variety but pancakes were cold. No decaf coffee. Thought the room would be as described in photo but no couch."

"The hotel staff was excellent, with a very quick porter. The pool and hot tub were heated and indoors, which was nice for the cold weather. The adjoining restaurant was delicious, and the front porch was relaxing."

"Tried to charge me again and even though I had already paid in advance. Charged my credit card additional charge for an unknown reason that they couldn’t explain but later took it off used the reason because I used hotel.com then when I checked out and asked for a receipt was told they couldn’t give me one to contact Hotel.com. Apparently they don’t like for you to book their rooms from somebody besides going straight through them"

"Staff is incredible and so nice. The beds were super comfy and the in room fridge and microwave were helpful too. The breakfast is basic, but it gets you going. Very much recommend!"

"The Winchester Whiskey Bar was great especially since the weather was nasty the day we arrived. The hotel check in attendant was unapologetic in telling us check in time was changed to 4pm even though our reservation said 3pm and we were eager to get settled and dry after a rough trip over the water in 35 mph wind with rain. There was also only two cups of caffeinated coffee in the room when we were three adults and no coffee downstairs, which was very disappointing considering the cost of the room. We had to ask for more, or go get our own in town, where very little was open yet. The room was great and our view from the balcony was awesome so overall we would stay again, just be more prepared for morning coffee."

"We could not get the water on in the shower. When we called front desk, staff member was very rude. She insisted it worked but had to be pulled and twisted. Both my husband and I tried to the point of fear of breakage. She did offer to come and prove it but neither of us were dressed. Upon checkout, housekeeping came to room and was able to pull with both hands and get water on. She was very pleasant and apologetic. Very disappointing!"
