"The first night we were in this motel we had the NOISIEST neighbors upstairs. I couldn't believe how loud they were just walking back and forth and up and down the stairs right outside our room. I called the front desk to see if we could get a different room on the second story and the next morning we were moved! Absolutely no issues after that. The staff were so friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely recommend!"

"I rented an Accessible Room, I am a Bilateral AKA traveler. There was a shower but the hand held shower head I could not reach if I could have used the bathroom! No wall fold down chair or shower removable chair. When questioned staff they stated that they meet ADA requirements! Yet they have violated every clause of ADA, false advertising. I could not use there breakfast amenities due to no room for someone in a wheelchair or for that matter a walker would not get through their facilities! If...

"I didn't know what to expect coming into Sunrise Beach Motel since I had read both very positive reviews as well as some pretty scathing ones. But my experience was excellent. We were given a nicely rehabbed 2nd story room overlooking Lake Huron with beautiful views of the bridge and surrounding islands. Our room had the pinewood paneling on the walls and new LVP flooring. "Clean, quiet, and affordable (for a touristy place like Mackinaw, anyway). I never interacted with any staff - I was emailed a code for the door to my room which worked just fine and when it was time to check out I just left and locked the door again. I give this place 4 stars out of 5 only because my shower drained extremely slowly and I was up to my ankles in water during my shower. Nothing a drain snake can't fix, I'm sure. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."
