"Room was small even when we upgraded to the executive. Also expensive and aged. The bathroom fixtures and TV were particularly dated. The ‘free’ breakfast wasn’t really a free breakfast but instead a bagel and a cup of coffee. I paid a lot for this stay and was very disappointed."

"The room was very quiet. The air conditioning unit did not make any noises when it was on or when it shut off or turned on like some hotel rooms. Because it's good construction from long ago, you cannot hear anyone else's rooms. It was so quiet when sleeping. Also, no light enters the room because they have really good shades and covers so when you wake up you still think it's dark outside. The bed was very comfortable. No sleep issues other than a good night sleep. Pillows were good as well....

"It’s looks really regal and all the gold accents were so nice to see around. The staff were all amazing like Jose, Edmond, and Saleem. They were so helpful when it came to parking and even getting my luggage (it was a lot) up to my floor. The only thing that was frustrating was the restaurant because even though it’s inside the hotel, I didn’t know we had to reserve a seat (which is understandable) but as a guest I just thought we could just go whenever it was available."

"Room wasn’t so clean had specks of paint everywhere. No mini fridge in room. Hat lights looked like they were coming out. Shower had minimal pressure and didn’t drain well. No bedside table on one side of the bed. No amenities like toothbrush toothpaste or utensils. Not sure about avg price for a hotel in NYC but didn’t feel worth $250. Staff was incredible though"
