"This was the perfect hotel for me and my teenaged son. We were close to a lot of the sites I wanted to see and a quick bus ride from the heart of Kyoto that he wanted to experience. The hotel itself was charming and spacious. Especially after spending a few days in Tokyo, the room felt massive. Two double beds, a living area with TV, separate WC and separate tub/shower. The staff was enthusiastic and cheerful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Superb hotel!"

"Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Kiyomizu-dera. Sehr durchdachte Einrichtung. Nach Gion Zentrum 15 Minuten Fußweg. Steile Stufen ins 1. Geschoss ( Schlafzimmer und Tatami-Raum). Sehr schöner Miniaturgarten vor dem Badezimmer. Klimatisierung in jedem Raum. Die Wohnung macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben dort zwei schöne Wochen verbracht."

"Couldn’t have chosen a better hotel for our stay in Kyoto. The location was great-walking distance to everything. The rooms were super nice, spacious, & the shower was the best shower experience we’ve ever had (water pressure & large rainfall shower that soaks you). Lastly, the breakfast was fabulous and a nice way to start our day & the rooftop bar had great views, cocktails & snacks where we played cards. All around 10/10!"

"We had an authentic Japanese experience staying here. The location was perfect - the house was on a quiet street while still being very close to the main attractions in the Gion area. The interior was beautiful, clean and well insulated with heated floors and AC in each room. Beds were very comfortable and the upstairs living offered a lovely veiw of the Yasaka Pagoda. "This hotel is a gem. Situated in the heart of the Higashiyama area, it is perfectly placed to explore the cobbled streets of old Kyoto. The room has a spectacular, priceless view of Hokan-ji temple, and the room’s amenities are impressive, being both stylishly constructed and thoughtfully implemented.
