Some of the key spots are just around the corner from the hotel. Given the crowds during the day, it was easy to see them early in the morning or after dinner when the crowds were much smaller. Easy spot for taxi to pickup if needed transportation to kyoto station or somewhere further. Walkable to many kimono rental stores with next day drop-off return service. Perfect location for planning on visiting multiple sites and return here in-between for a quick rest. Did I forget the authentic ryokan style rooms with impeccable service? Recommended...
