"Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar mit einer Nespresso Maschine und Kaffekapseln. Auch die Waschmaschine mit Trockner war sehr hilfreich. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön im japanischen Stil eingerichtet. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. "

"The staff, service and food were exceptional. The location was perfect for what we wanted out of a four night stay in Kyoto. But, it was the staff that made the experience memorable. Some of the key spots are just around the corner from the hotel. Given the crowds during the day, it was easy to see them early in the morning or after dinner when the crowds were much smaller. If you are looking for the perfect atmosphere from a traditional small Japanese Ryoken then look no further!"

"Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. "

"Hôtel très propre situé dans une rue très calme. J’ai eu la chance d’avoir un balcon avec vue sur la rue. Le bain en bois est un vrai atout et le personnel est charmant ! Il faut prévoir de redonner les clés à l’accueil lorsque vous allez vous promener et les portes de l’hôtel ferment à minuit mais cela ne m’a pas posé de problème, c’est même sécurisant."

"Clean rooms, towel service with water bottle everyday, property was quiet and well maintained. Lacking closet/dresser/hanger space. No dryer, just washer, but was provided a fan and hanging rack for drying. Loved the soaking tub!"
