"Awesome hotel, food, experience"

"This was our favourite accommodation throughout Japan. The room was huge with a separate toilet and powder room to the bathroom. Japanese PJ's were provided which was a nice touch, also a hair straightener and curler and Nespresso coffee pods. The staff were amazing, so polite and helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was an experience in itself - opt for the Japanese style breakfast- it was delicious. The location was perfect, only a 5 min walk to the Keihan subway line and walking distance...

"Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Kiyomizu-dera. Sehr durchdachte Einrichtung. Nach Gion Zentrum 15 Minuten Fußweg. Steile Stufen ins 1. Geschoss ( Schlafzimmer und Tatami-Raum). Sehr schöner Miniaturgarten vor dem Badezimmer. Klimatisierung in jedem Raum. Die Wohnung macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben dort zwei schöne Wochen verbracht."

"This boutique hotel had exceptional service, the team was lovely and the complimentary mini-bar and snacks was definitely a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The little piece of Nintendo history also made the stay even more special. It was also nice to be in a quiet neighborhood but still be close to the city and busy areas. The library and open bar/self-service bar was also great. It was like coming home every night and everyone felt at ease and comfortable....

"A truly wonderful small hotel. A very soothing bedroom, beautifully designed with its own onsen bath. Lots of thoughtful and generous touches, without being over the top. (No outside view because windows are screened, but that added to the sense of serenity.) The bath was a wonderful way to end the day. Superb location, not far from Gijon and the sights to the east of Kyoto, in a lovely quiet area. Best of all are the staff. They are outstandingly helpful, thoughtful and kind. They...

"Nice small hotel 750m from JR Kyoto. Room was Hollywood Twin . Big enough for lower than avg price for Kyoto hotel. Clean, daily servicing if wanted, Free coffee, tea, ice drinks as much as like. Great friendly front desk staff, who mostly spoke English. Across road from 7/11 and many restaurants in area - wagu beef, Thai, Nepali, Japanese and vegeterian. Close to bus routes and subway across the bridge."

"The hotel has nice lobby and rooms. Close to Kyoto station, cost only about 800 yen to hotel, and close to few cultural sites. The staffs are friendly, and helpfull. I and my wife love the japanese breakfast thwy served."
