"Quite possibly the best overall hotel experience we have enjoyed! We have travelled around the world, but the overall experience of Marufukuro was unmatched. The facility was comfortable, relaxed, with a wonderful funky esthetic. The staff were awesome. Helpful, but not overwhelming. Polite. The lounge was a great place to relax and end each busy day. The room was also comfortable and included any possible amenity. Thank you to the staff and owners. You have outdone yourselves."

"Clean rooms. Well appointed with coffee/tea/snacks and mini bar. Very relaxing. Restaurant was very good for dinner and traditional Japanese breakfast (NOT Western style if that is your hope) walkable to transit, convenience stores, restaurants and some traditional temple sites. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend! "

"Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Kiyomizu-dera. Sehr durchdachte Einrichtung. Nach Gion Zentrum 15 Minuten Fußweg. Steile Stufen ins 1. Geschoss ( Schlafzimmer und Tatami-Raum). Sehr schöner Miniaturgarten vor dem Badezimmer. Klimatisierung in jedem Raum. Die Wohnung macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben dort zwei schöne Wochen verbracht."

"The hotel has nice lobby and rooms. Close to Kyoto station, cost only about 800 yen to hotel, and close to few cultural sites. The staffs are friendly, and helpfull. I and my wife love the japanese breakfast thwy served."
